Originally released in 1979 as TRL5006 on Titian Records label.

Arawak is one of the many pseudonyms that Luciano Simoncini used for his soundtrack and library music works. “Background Music N. 4” is a multi-faceted release that includes at least two symphonic pop gems tinged with jazz, together with other more abstract and improvised tracks, often made with a single instrument; it goes from the dramatic sounds of “Secolo XX”, through the liquid atmospheres of “Acquarium”, to the percussive experiments of “Missili”, “Nel tempo” and “Cardiopatia”. Fascinating!
